Exploring the Legacy of Jane Jacobs at Urban Studies Panel

'A Good City?' Panel

On Monday 14 November 2016 Innis College and the Urban Studies Program hosted a panel of five city experts to discuss, debate and explore the legacy of renowned urbanist Jane Jacobs. The panel was the 107th event in the Jane100 series, a line-up of events celebrating what would have been Jane’s 100th birthday.

Panelists included ERICA ALLEN-KIM, RICHARD FLORIDA, PAUL HESSPATRICIA O’CAMPO, and MICHAEL PIPER. Urban Studies Director SHAUNA BRAIL served as the evening’s moderator.

We would like to extend our thanks to our collaborators across the University, who helped make this event the enormous success that it was! This includes the Department of Geography & Planning, the Martin Prosperity Institute, and the John H. Daniels Faculty of Architecture, Landscape, and Design.
